Documentary series, taking 6 western athletes - giving them 12 extraordinary sporting challenges. In each programme the athletes visit a different location around the world; they live with locals, grow to understand traditional culture, and train to take part in an anusual sporting event. In Brazil the WAURA TRIBE was chosen, located at the High Xingu Park and the sport was CANOING, so the Waujas built enough canoes for a competition. The British & American athletes were trained to take part in the event and had the opportunity to learn their culture and daily life.
